Some android
devices especially coolpad use firmware with .cpb extension. This type of firmware
can only be flashed or upgraded using YGDP Tool. The steps below will show you
how to do just that in few minutes.
Note
Create
backup of all your personal data (contacts, sms, photos, etc) before using this
tool
Battery
should be at least 20%
Do this
at your own risk!
Download
and install latest YGDP Tool from here
Download
and install android universal adb drivers from here
Some
device requires other drivers and its usually found in firmware package.
Launch
YGDP Tool after installation.
For
Password, input 369 and click login
Now on the
main screen of YGDP tool, click Config
button
Click
the folder icon under Please select CPB file
Navigate
and select the CPB file of the device
you want to flash and click Apply button
YGDP Tool will load and verify file (this will take few minutes depending on size of file)
Click Start button
Turn off
device and connect to PC while holding volume up button
Phone
drivers will install and when complete, the flashing/upgrading process starts
Do not
disconnect the phone during flashing period.
When
green progress bar reaches 100%,
process is complete.
Disconnect
and reboot phone.
Congrats…
you have just flashed/upgraded your device
First
boot after this process takes longer than normal so be patient.

if you are having issue running YGDP Tool on windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, right click on YGDP > Properties >Run as compatibility mode for Windows XP
