Gionee S Plus Quick Review

This phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.

Powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and 3GB of RAM there’s also 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with microSD. Gionee S Plus runs on Android 5.1 lollipop OS.

There is a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front selfie camera.

This is a dual SIM Phone with other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks. Sensors on this phone include Compass Magnetometer, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and Gyroscope.

This device is powered by a 3150Mah non-removable battery.

How to flash this device using SP Flash Tool

Download, MTK VCOM USB drivers from here

Download, latest SP Flash Tool from here
Launch Flashtool inside the extracted folder
Click on scatter loader button
Select the scatter file inside the stock ROM folder of the device you want to flash
Select either Download only, Firmware Upgrade or Format + Download from drop down menu
Click Download Button
Now turn off and connect your device to PC
Wait for flashing process to complete
Reboot device
If there was no cache or userdata inside the ROM folder, you might need to factory reset device from recovery after flash
