Unzip and install LG Flash Tool
After installation do not run it directly
Go back to the extracted folder and copy the file Megalock.dll 
paste this file into installation folder usually C:\LG\LGFlashTool

To flash or upgrade LG devices with KDZ files, you will use LG flash tool

Download LG Flash Tool from here

Launch LG Flash Tool

Click on folder icon (Select KDZ file)

Navigate and select the KDZ file downloaded

Make sure battery level is about 15%

Put device into download mode by holding volume up then connect it to PC with USB

Click CSE Flash

After that, click Start button

Select a language and click OK from the dialogue box that appears

Now wait for the flashing process to complete

Note that some pop ups might appear during the flashing process just click OK to continue

How to bypass phone activation on Verizon LG G2 VS980

After a successful factory reset, flash or upgrade LG G2 VS980, when setting it up the phone will want to activate with a Verizon SIM card present inside. If you have a working Verizon SIM no worries it will activate within seconds but if you don't, you will be stuck on the activation page an all you will be able to do with the phone is make emergency calls which is really boring an annoying.

Well don't sweat it. The following trick below will show you how to bypass this activation with ease.

Turn on the phone
When its on select language page, press the following key combination
Volume up - Volume down - Back - Home - Menu
Select Skip Wizard from the pop up that appears
Thats all.
enjoy your phone again

Anytime I do this, I feel like a kid trying to input cheat codes on SEGA and NES games ahh those were the good old days. 
By the way do you remember the legendary Contra 30 lives cheat (up up down down left right left right B A Select Start) that was one of my favorite :D .

HOW TO FLASH/UNBRICK OR UPGRADE LG ANDROID DEVICES

Experimenting on your LG android smart phone with custom roms, apps, root etc is always enjoyable. But sometimes things can go wrong and the device will no longer be able to boot up. In this situation, the only way for you is to flash the Stock ROM/Firmware of the device. This can be done using LG Flash Tool. 
This process can also be used if you want to upgrade or downgrade your device to any official android version of the device released by LG.

Download the stock rom (firmware) of the LG device you want to flash/unbrick or update/downgrade. They are normally in kdz format.
Download and install LG drivers from here.
Download and extract LG Flash Tool from here.
Copy KDZ file from ROM (firmware) folder into LG Flash Tool Folder.
Make sure at least 25% of battery life is available on the device.
Boot the device into download mode by holding volume down button or volume up button then connect device to PC with usb.

Launch LGFlashTool2014 as administrator (If it cannot start, download and install visual c++ runtime).

• Select Type - CDMA
• Phone Mode - DIAG
• Select KDZ File (Choose the KDZ file inside the LG FLash Tool folder)

Click Normal for flashing the device without loosing any data.

Click CSE Flash to do a full flash of the device. Use this when upgrading, downgrading or unbricking the device.

Click START.

A dialogue box will appear for you to select language. Click OK.

Now Wait for the process to reach 100%

First boot after flash will take a while......

LG WINE ANDROID PHONES NOW AVAILABLE IN OTHER MARKET

LG is trying to be creative once again with the design of its new smart phone. They just released the flipped Android device which was announced back in Korea with alias LG Gentle. This device was made to be exclusively for Korea market but LG later changed their mind and now the device will be available in some selected markets across the Globe  (France, Kazakhstan, Italy, Poland, Spain, Japan and the UK) with a new name LG Wine Smart .

This flipped phone has dimensions of 177.7 x 58.7 x 16.6mm
having a 3.2 inch IPS LCD with HVGA resolution with
1.1 GHz Quad core processor,
1GB RAM and 4GB internal memory expandable with microSD.
As fot connections, this device supports 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.1.
The camera aspect of this device is poor a 3.14 mega pixel on the back and VGA in front.
This smart phone will be running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Will this be a kick start of classic designs of smart phones ? Only time will tell... 

LG G Pad 2 SPECS LEAKS OUT !!!!

This device was leaked by Tipster Leaksfly who posted on his weibo page the specs of this coming device. The specs shows that this is a serious upgrade of the previous LG G pad 8.3 which was released about 2 years ago.

According to this leaksfly, this slate is expected to have
8.3 inch screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution.
Built with  Snapdragon 805 SoC.
Quad Core CPU.
Andreno 420 GPU.
2GB RAM and 32GB expandable internal memory.
8MP main camera and a 5MP selfie shooter.
This device will be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

More technical features will be released as days go by to the official launch of this device. It is rumored that this device will be unveiled in October.
