It seems the smartphone business is really on an eruption now. We see and hear all sorts of name nowadays on phones. Here comes PepsiCo Inc the company which produces pepsi soft drinks are now working with a license partner to release their own line of smartphones.

Xiaomi devices will hit African markets soon

Chinese Mobile phone giants Xiaomi now have their eyes on the Africa market. After huge success last year in countries like India and Brazil using Foxconn and Redington respectively, they are now ready to expand their market further to Africa using a Pan-African distributor called Mobile in Africa Limited and also the online sales platform.  Its said their devices will be available for about 50 African countries by September.

This Chinese company already know that its not going to be an easy task for them to break into the Afican market due to heavy competition from already well known Chinese manufacturers like Tecno, Gionee, infinix, lenovo etc. They are prepared to create great devices at competitive prices just like Google who launched the Android One with infinix hot 2 few days ago in Africa with a price tag of just $87. 

Xiaomi made a record breaking sales on the Redmi Note2 this year which came with the new MIUI 7 interface and they are promising to keep that up with other flagship devices. 

This is great news for Africa as another mobile phone giant is entering the market. Hope there will be real competition and massive drop in price so that everyone can get a smart phone..

Blackberry to launch new Android Slider Phone (Venice)

In the past, Blackberry has always been about class and elegance. But most people nowadays have switched to Android and iPhone. Even the new BB10 OS which had many great features did not still convince. 
Finally the Canadian company has decided to release promising Android phone in the tomming months which might take back its name to the top of the smartphone market. This device will be called Blackberry Venice. Many photos of this said to be powerful device have been leaked online in the past weeks.

From the photos leaked its evident that the Blackberry Venice will have
a physical slide-out Qwerty Keyboard.
A slightly curve display like that of Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE.
An a camera with Dual LED Flash.

Blackberry Venice will be powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset running at 1.9GHz with 3GB RAM
Its said that this device will run on the stock version of Android with more features from Blackberry to make the experience really smooth.
Rumors also say this device will have an 18 Mega Pixel back camera and a 5 Mega Pixel front camera.
We are still waiting for the official specs and price from Blackberry.
Since Blackberry products are always classy, I'm sure this one will be one hell of an android device.

Is Nokia trying to bounce back ?

Its said dry bones shall live again.The other part Nokia (not Microsoft) struck a partnership with a Chinese firm
and now they are trying to bounce back into the mobile phone world. 
An image of a smartphone running on android OS with Nokia's logo was released by this Chinese firm. Its said this device will be called Nokia C1.

Samsung G9198 another flipped android device to be seen soon in markets

Mobile phone giants Samsung have just introduced another powerful flip android device. This device is a serious upgrade of the G9098 which was released last year in China.

The smart phone will feature a dimension of 120.3 x 61.2 x 16.3mm which will give a bulge in the pocket due to its thickness.

Even though this device is a little bit thick and looks like one of those classic old phones, I believe it will still be a blast and turn heads down in public places.

LG WINE ANDROID PHONES NOW AVAILABLE IN OTHER MARKET

LG is trying to be creative once again with the design of its new smart phone. They just released the flipped Android device which was announced back in Korea with alias LG Gentle. This device was made to be exclusively for Korea market but LG later changed their mind and now the device will be available in some selected markets across the Globe  (France, Kazakhstan, Italy, Poland, Spain, Japan and the UK) with a new name LG Wine Smart .

This flipped phone has dimensions of 177.7 x 58.7 x 16.6mm
having a 3.2 inch IPS LCD with HVGA resolution with
1.1 GHz Quad core processor,
1GB RAM and 4GB internal memory expandable with microSD.
As fot connections, this device supports 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.1.
The camera aspect of this device is poor a 3.14 mega pixel on the back and VGA in front.
This smart phone will be running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

SONY ANNOUNCES XPERIA C5 & XPERIA M5

Two new devices have just been announced by Sony, Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5 to be available in mid August.

The Xperia C5 Ultra is an upgrade of the Xperia C3. This phone is the selfie beast. 13 Mega Pixel auto focus crystal clear front camera with 22mm focal length for a wide view shot and LED. The back camera is also 13 Mega pixel with auto focus.

XIAOMI TO LAUNCH WINDOWS 10 TABLETS ?

Since there is continuous downfall of sales of Xiaomi tablets, we thought Xiaomi might stop producing this type of devices until know a known Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang  tips Xiaomi to launch a windows 10 powered device in the third quarter of this year. It is said the device will be the successor of the Mi Pad tablet which was released Last year.

But it is not known if this new tablet will run on windows 10 standard edition or the windows 10 mobile edition as Pan Jiutang failed to mention it on his post.

This device will be release on August 16 which is the normal time the company announces its new version of MIUI user interface for its users. So lets wait for for more details of about this tablet.

WINDOWS 10 NOW AVAILABLE

Microsoft has started rolling out Windows 10 upgrade for existing users who reserved for the update. This update is now available for 190 countries. Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore says users can now even reserve for this update and get added to the list. 
Microsoft announce earlier that Windows 10 will roll out for its users starting from today. 
Windows 10 come pre-installed with Cortana voice assistant to PCs, the new Microsoft Edge browser, New Photos, Videos, Music, Maps, People, Mail & Calendar apps, Windows Continuum, Windows Hello for secure logins and many other new features.

If you want to opt out of the preview, you'll have to move back to your previous version of Windows 7 or 8.1 then perform a clean Windows 10 install.

There are different editions of Windows 10 that includes, Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education. Microsoft has also released ISOs if you want to install it fresh, but you will need a Windows product key.

Redmond crew released the  32- and 64-bit ISO files for free download, but you will need to have an up to date, genuine copy of Windows 7 or 8.1 to run this ISO file.
Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo are already ready to launch out laptops and PC with this new OS

INFINIX PROMISES TO ROLL OUT ANDROID 5.1 TO ITS DEVICES

Infinix one of the leading mobile products in Africa and parts of Asia have promised to bring Android 5.1 Lollipop update to their smart phones. 

An insider of infinix mobility posted this on their forum page

August this year.

A new Huawei device with codename AL00  was certified at TENAA, the Chinese smart phone certification agency which is similar to the FCC in USA. This smart phone is rumored to be the Huawei G8.

  

 The smart phone will feature a full metallic body available in black and gold packaged with the following specs.

The display of this smart phone will be around 5.5 inch with FHD resolution of 1080 x 1920 and 401 pixel per inch.

LG G Pad 2 SPECS LEAKS OUT !!!!

This device was leaked by Tipster Leaksfly who posted on his weibo page the specs of this coming device. The specs shows that this is a serious upgrade of the previous LG G pad 8.3 which was released about 2 years ago.

According to this leaksfly, this slate is expected to have
8.3 inch screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution.
Built with  Snapdragon 805 SoC.
Quad Core CPU.
Andreno 420 GPU.
2GB RAM and 32GB expandable internal memory.
8MP main camera and a 5MP selfie shooter.
This device will be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 5 TO BE ANNOUNCED ON AUGUST 13TH

The rumors about launching Samsung Galaxy Note S5 might end up being true as latest 

reports from Korea media suggests that the device is scheduled for launch on 13th of 

August in New York.

Samsung real reason for pushing out this device early is because they want to be in 

market before Apple iPhone 6s/6s pair which are to be released in mid September. 

So Samsung is dropping its well none policy to announce their next-gen Note at IFA in Berlin.


The lack of SDcard for the galaxy S6 Galaxy Note 5 is believed will have a microSD slot supporting microDDXC cards up 

to 128GB. Powered with a massive 4100mAH non removable battery. Further leaks from 

Sprint suggests the the cameras on this galaxy device will be 16MP primary and 5MP 

secondary which  is the same as that of the Galaxy S6 & S6 EDGE.

Galaxy Note 5 will also have curve front display like the Galaxy S6 EDGE.

 Rumors still have it that this spectacular device might end up with a whooping 4GB RAM.

According to Samsung blog, this device will either be a 2K or 4K flat Super AMOLED display on the front with an Exynos 7422 processor.

Photos of the Galaxy Note 5 S Pen have leaked out showing the phones signature accessory. It has a side button as it has done in the past and it looks to have a clickable top as well.
