Apple to kill of 32bits Apps in iOS 11

Earlier this year Apple promised the launch of iOS 11 for iPhones and iPads with many and exciting new features. I’m really interested the Augmented Reality (AR) and the Apple pay feature which is said to be on the upcoming iPhone8. If you want to test iOS 11 on your device before its official release, you can install the beta. Note that you have to deal with a lot of bugs.

But as new and exciting stuffs come along, old stuffs are taken as trash. This is sad but true and apple plans to do just that as 32bits apps will no longer be supported by devices running on iOS 11. That simply means if and app is not upgraded for a long time will no longer work on devices using this new OS.

32bits app are still widely used so I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed because most of them will not be updated by their developers. The only thing to do is look for alternative apps that serve same purpose.

It’s the end of the line for OS and security updates on iPhone 5, 5c and 4^th generation iPad. iOS 11 will not be available to use on them come September. You can find a full list of compatible device on Apples iOS 11 Review page

Download Samsung PIT files

PIT stands for Partition Information Table ie a PIT file contains the full partition info like name, block size and other relevant stuffs on any Samsung Android phone. It’s not necessary thing to always use PIT file when flashing a Samsung device.

If you are a regular of flashing Samsung android devices using odin, you must have seen an error saying partition information is not present or available that’s when these PIT files are necessary to use.


PIT files can easily be found inside Samsung 4 files repair firmware package. Since the sizes of these packages a quite big in size for download, I decided to share links for only the PIT files for easy download.

Fixing bad LED (lights) inside a smartphone screen

ASUU is striking again, thats a bad one for the university students but a +1 for me because I can enter the campus without being noticed by some of my old buddies 😊. Still I could not escape this fate.

My favorite mobile phone hardware engineer in that campus Mr. Might aka Phone Doctor 😜 out of boredom because of no work was just gazing around and got a sight of me. I met him for some chit chat then out of the blue a guy came with a Samsung clone device. The screen of this phone is just dark you can only see stuffs there if you take the phone into a dark place (ie screen lights were out).

I suggested that he should just change the screen entirely but Mr. Might said he is going to run the light inside the screen that he has done it several times. Ok, then I told his boy to video the process it could make a good blog post by the way what do I have to loose 😉 and he did just that even though his hands were shaking we can still see what is going on.

Yea although I'm not really a big fan of mobile phone hardware stuffs because of the small parts it was really amazing how he took the the screen apart and connect whatever he was connecting  😂😂😂.  Anyway have fun watching the video I think you can learn a thing or two from it.

How to switch logo/boot animation on chinese clone phones like X-BO, CMX, Trandeno etc

Clone phones often boot up with logo of top oem names like Sony, LG, Samsung, HTC etc. It's easier to sell clone phones with such logo than their original ones. Problem usually occurs when you flash the phone with it stock firmware or do a factory reset and the logo now changes back to default then show something like Welcome, android or something else as logo. This is embarrassing to the owner of the device. I've even seen some people throwing blows because of this (Logo and boot animation changed from Sony to Welcome after flash 😂😂).

Enough of whatever I was typing above let's go to the point on how to switch logo and animation of clone devices.

How to install .bar apps on BB10 devices using Sachesi

Even though Blackberry 10 OS is fast fading, there are still some die hard fans out there who still love it and will do anything to still enjoy this device. On a normal, you download and install Blackberry Apps from Blackberry World which requires Mobile Data or WIFI network but what if you just want to install an app or game offline? that is when there's no network .bar files will come in handy. Launch Sachesi.
Now connect your BB10 device to PC and wait for Sachesi to detect it.
Input password if required.
You will see a list of all the apps found inside your device.
Now drag and drop the .bar app into Sachesi window.
Wait for the installation to complete.
When installation is complete, click Refresh button.
If you go back to app list, you will find the app you just installed
