Sometimes the firmware of these type of device might have different screen or camera drivers with the current one on your device so after flashing you might the screen display of the phone will be blur or have funny colours. 
So it is always wise to do a backup of uboot.bin/lk.bin file on xbo device before you flash with new firmware so that if anything concerning the screen or camera have problem you can flash the file to correct it.
Miracle Box, infinity CMII, GSM Aladdin or any other MTK flashing box can be used to do this backup. 

Just download the updated firmware and flash the device. But if you will like to know if the exact firmware that matches the device, check the board id and compare with the file name below.
Access device board id by reading what is found on the sticker of the mother board as shown on the image below (image is just and example).

How to flash xbo devices using SP Flash Tool

Note

Follow the instructions on how to flash the device carefully below

I will not take responsibility on whatever may happen to your device.

Flash at your own risk..

Make sure you are downloading the exact ROM of the device you want to flash because 

 flashing a wrong preloader, will make the device completely dead 

(can't power on, can't charge and will not be detected by a computer)

Download, MTK VCOM USB drivers from here
Download, latest SP Flash Tool from here

Launch Flashtool inside the extracted folder

Click on scatter loader button

Select the scatter file inside the stock ROM folder of the device you want to flash
Select either Download only, Firmware Upgrade or Format + Download from drop down menu
Click Download Button
Now turn off and connect your device to PC
Wait for flashing process to complete
Reboot device

If there was no cache or userdata inside the ROM folder, you might need to factory reset device from recovery after flash.

If you experience no network after flash, fix imei/baseband errors using Maui Meta 3G, SN Write Tool, MTK Engineering app or Miracle Box.
